I grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and came to Holland to attend Hope College. My bachelor’s degree is in special education and my master’s degree is in the teaching of reading. I began my teaching career with Hamilton Schools, was a stay-at-home mom for a number of years, and then taught at Calvary Schools. Over the years I have taught students from every grade level K- 12th and have enjoyed each age group!

My husband, Loren, and I have four children: Anna, Matthew, Jonathan, and Grant. As a family we enjoy playing games, watching movies, and eating good food. As an administrative assistant at Pine Ridge, I am excited to continue to serve and invest in the lives of students, staff, and parents.
