I grew up in Mid-Michigan and attended Alma College. After I taught orchestra in the public schools for seven years, my wife Andrea received her law degree from Michigan State College of Law and we relocated to West Michigan. I started teaching at Holland Christian in 2012 and Andrea is an attorney at a downtown Grand Rapids law firm. Andrea and I are blessed to be living, working, and raising our son Elijah in West Michigan. We thoroughly enjoy running races, nature, playing music, traveling, and spending time together.
