I graduated from Grand Valley State University with my M.Ed in school counseling in 2020. I did my undergraduate work in psychology at Seattle Pacific University. Throughout that time I worked in various school settings and academic levels, expanding and challenging my viewpoint as an educator and as a counselor. I grew up in the West Michigan area and am grateful to be back and setting down roots after living and going to school on the West Coast. My husband, Thomas, and I enjoy exploring around town, going on drives, and finding new restaurants to try. We also love to play games and hangout watching movies together. It is an honor to walk alongside students and encourage them as they learn more about themselves and others through their formative elementary and middle school years.
