After graduating from Calvin College and Calvin Seminary I moved across the pond to pursue my doctoral degree in theology at Marquette University. Before teaching at Holland Christian I taught theology at Marquette U for five years, and then I taught Bible class at my daughter's middle school for four years. I am blessed to be married to my beautiful wife, Meg, and we have three great kids. Our family enjoys traveling to national parks, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and playing interesting board games. I'm excited to join the community at Holland Christian, and I can think of nothing more fulfilling than teaching students about the transformative rescue mission of Jesus Christ as they enter a world that desperately needs it.
