I graduated from Calvin College in 2001 with a degree in elementary education and earned my masters degree in reading from Grand Valley State University. I began my teaching career at Ada Christian School where I taught 4th grade for four years.

My husband, Dave, and I, along with our children, Jackson, Will, Avery and Claire enjoy being together in God’s creation. We like to hike, go for boat rides and be active together. In my free time I enjoy reading, running and chasing sunsets. Our family attends Faith CRC.

I am so grateful for the gift of Jesus and that He loves us just the way we are. It is my desire to know him more deeply, to trust him wholly and to have my life be a reflection of Him. One of the greatest joys of teaching is to share God’s love story with His precious children!
