I am a 1987 graduate of Calvin College. I have served at Holland Christian since 1988, and have taught grades 3-6. I teach primarily the language arts.

My husband Kevin and I have four children and attend Calvary CRC. We love to travel and to have family vacations together.

I love Holland Christian because it is a place where prayer and worship are outward expressions of love for our Creator, where students are valued because they are image bearers of God and their potential for kingdom work is limitless. I enjoy sharing prayer with and for each other, and using everyday moments to strengthen a child’s walk with Jesus. It is my prayer that my students leave my room academically ready, but more importantly ready to shoulder their responsibility in God’s world.
