I grew up in Grand Rapids and, in 1994, graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in elementary education. I taught six + years in elementary and middle school in West Michigan. During that time, I earned my Masters of Education in reading from GVSU. For 12 years, my family lived in Huntsville, Alabama, where I taught 4th grade. In 2012, our family moved back to Holland, and, in 2013, I began working in ESS at Holland Christian. God has blessed my husband, Dave ’90, and me with two children: Katie ’16, and Josh ‘19. My family and I are members at Park CRC. Christian education is a blessing and a privilege that should be available to children of all abilities. I’m pleased to be part of ESS to help insure that all children receive a quality Christian education.
