I graduated from Holland Christian High School in 2015, inspired by my teachers to become one myself. I then attended Calvin University and graduated with majors in History and Social Studies and a minor in African & African Diaspora Studies. My husband, Evan, and I live downtown Holland. We are so thankful to be part of the HC community together. History and high schoolers are two of my favorite things. My hope is that, through studying the past, my students will develop a deeper understanding of today’s world, grow in the assurance that God is the author of all stories, including theirs, and be compelled to act as Christ’s agents of renewal wherever they end up.
