I graduated from Hope College in May of 2019 with a B.A. in sociology and a passion for working with young people. While at Hope, I volunteered at the Good Samaritan Circles program from 2017 to 2024. I was born and raised in Holland, MI, and I am the eldest sibling in my family. I am a member of Park CRC, but often attend Overisel Reformed Church in Overisel, MI. In my free time I like to explore antique stores, restore old hand tools, visit museums, make maple syrup, and blacksmith. As a 2014 Holland Christian graduate, it feels good to be able to give back to the school that taught me so much. Now I see it as my opportunity to emulate that kind faith developing experience for the next generation of students that I personally received all those years ago.
