Science Teacher

I graduated from Calvin College in 2007 with an integrated science major and biology minor for secondary education. In 2013 I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in science education. I got the opportunity to be a research assistant and science instructor for a National Science Foundation program in 2008. My wife, Katie, and our three children Jack, Grace, and Chloe currently live on the south side of Holland and are members of Providence Church. In science, we develop models of creation in its amazing intricacy. I believe students are part of that amazing creation and need to treat each other as such in and out of the classroom. I am here to love my students, to be patient with them, and to help them grow in grace, knowledge of God, and knowledge of His creation.
