I am a graduate of Holland Christian. I received a B.A. in elementary education from Calvin College in 1991 and got my first job that fall. In 2002, I received a masters in reading from GVSU. I have taught at Holland Christian since 2013. I teach threes preschool and afternoon enrichment at South Side.

I am married to Dave and we have two children, Ethan and Rylea. We are at the stage of becoming empty nesters! Ethan has Asperger’s Syndrome. I pray that God will use me as a resource and an advocate when needed. My favorite verses are Philippians 4:13 and Proverbs 3:5-6. I am blessed to be teaching at Holland Christian. I love that I can bring God into my teaching, help my students understand where they fit in God’s world and show my students how to love God and love others.
