I graduated from Calvin College in 2007 with a B.A. in Special Education and Elementary Education. I began my career working in the Special Education field instructing a summer program for Ready For Life at Hope College and working at HC as the ESS Life Skills Job Coach. I have continued to be blessed to work at HC as a teacher assistant and one of the current Life Skills teachers. My husband, Jim, and I married in 2007. We have two sons currently at HC, and we have enjoyed welcoming international students into our family over the past years. We love being involved at Ridge Point Community Church, helping with Unified Sports at HC, and cheering on our children in their athletics and music. I love being a part of Holland Christian. I believe that God created each student in His image. Each student has many abilities and gifts to share with others. My passion is to support students as they seek to grow in their abilities and in their relationship with God.
