Grant Confirmation Process Update

Until this 24-25 school year, the ditto and Foundation Grants were automatically factored into the cost of published tuition rates. However, with the 2022-23 addition of the opt-in Go Ahead Grant, the different opt-in/out approaches created some confusion. To keep things clear and consistent moving forward, we are requesting all families annually opt into each of these grants Grant Confirmation Form to confirm their intent to accept each of the Ditto, Foundation and Go Ahead Grants.

The availability of the grants is not changing, but the grants will be applied to your tuition statement only if you choose to accept them annually by filling out the Grant Confirmation Form. Please do so by May 19, 2024 in order for these funds to be accurately reflected on your first tuition statement for the 24-25 academic year. Donated grants may be tax deductible and can be issued a receipt if formally opted out of by filling out the same Grant Confirmation Form. The 24-25 opt-in form will close on September 30.

Each year a percentage of the earnings of the Foundation are gifted back to HC families in the form of a Foundation Grant. The per student Foundation grant amount for the 24-25 school year is $434.

Our full tuition schedule has examples detailing the effect of the grant on families with different combinations of elementary, middle, and high school students.

TRIP

TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) is a fundraising program in which individuals can purchase gift cards (online or via a paper order form) through Holland Christian Schools to shop at major food, gas, and retail stores.

The stores sell our HC TRIP program the gift cards at a discount that varies from store to store. The school then sells the cards at face value to participants and credits their tuition account with the difference. And anyone in the community can participate!
