I coach at Holland Christian because I love Jesus and I love the game of softball. It is an honor to be able to share both of these with young women. I love the joy and energy that high school girls bring to the dugout each day as well as the lessons that can be learned from the game. Teamwork, discipline, and persistence are important in softball as well as all areas of our lives. I consider it a privilege to build relationships, watch each girl grow as a ball player and young lady, and instill the love of God and softball in the girls that I am blessed to coach.

I have enjoyed playing softball all of my life and have also been blessed to be a part of many teams. What I have learned through this experience is that sports can be used as a teaching tool for life. What is learned through teamwork both on and off the field can also be used in families, in the classroom, among friends, and in the working world. It is my goal to present a positive experience where teamwork is emphasized and skills are shared for the benefit of all and God is glorified. It is a privilege for me to coach at Holland Christian where I can partner with educators in putting Christ first in athletics.
