Dear Rose Park Friends,
October is the month that Creation seems to pop to life singing Psalm 96:12 “Let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.” We will be certain to point our learners to the glory of God all month. We are also enjoying the rhythms of the school day that children begin to take comfort and begin to trust. Relationships are forming, adventures are enjoyed together and children are finding love in the care of their teachers. Thank you for your support and care for our community.
With thanks,
Katelyn and Miska

You can find all the details on how to sign up in the all-school newsletter emailed to you.
CEA
Our Christian Educator Association conference will take place on October 24 and 25, so school will not be in session on those days. Additionally, our staff is engaging in a day of learning on October 23 impacting our calendar as well. Therefore, students will have a fall break from October 23-25. Thank you for your support as we grow our teachers.
Favorite Things
A few kind parents have asked about teachers’ favorite things. Shh…. here are some of their favorites! 😉
Medication at School
If your child needs to take medication at school, we need an updated form signed by their physician each school year. If you have not done this yet, please do so ASAP. The medication forms can be found on the Medical Information and Forms Page for your convenience. You are welcome to email Hendrina Cupery, our school nurse, who will help you set up a plan for the office to assist in administering the medication. For safety reasons, Holland Christian Schools is not able to dispense any medication (prescription or non-prescription) to our students without a doctor’s order. Thank you!
Absences
Please call the school office at 616.820.4055 any time before 8:30am to let us know each day your child will be absent. You may leave a voicemail at any time and it will be checked in the morning when the office opens. Please be sure to include symptoms.
