But we also love healthy competition and rejoice in well-executed games and meets, and see them as opportunities to influence sports culture positively for Christ. Our coaches are fellow Christ-followers who love the students and the sports they coach, and who thrive not only on teaching and improving skills, but shaping Christ followers through athletics. Holland Christian competes as a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) for our regulations and postseason play, and in the Blue Division of the Ottawa-Kent Conference for regular season play along with Allendale, Coopersville, Fruitport, Hamilton, Spring Lake, Unity Christian and West Catholic.

Athletics at HCHS are an extension of our classrooms—perfect opportunities to learn personal strengths and limits, to learn more about each other, to explore and encourage one another’s gifts, and to experience Christian community and life struggles together.
